Give us the two locations
Start with the collection and delivery postcodes and describe the property type at each address. Include the floor for flats, the room count for homes and the nature of the premises for businesses. Explain the likely vehicle access, parking restrictions, stairs, lifts, gates and long carries. If you do not yet have the full delivery address, provide the area and say when the details should be known. Accurate locations help make the first response more relevant.
Describe what needs moving
List larger furniture, appliances and unusual items, then estimate boxes by room. Include lofts, garages, sheds, balconies, stock rooms and external storage. Flag anything heavy, fragile, valuable or awkward, along with furniture that may need agreed dismantling. For packing support, identify the rooms or belongings involved. For a business move, separate ordinary furniture from IT, confidential records and specialist equipment that may require your own qualified provider.
Explain your dates and timing
Share preferred dates, any flexibility and what they depend on. Tell Saints about completion, tenancy, key-release, building or working-hour restrictions. If the date is provisional, say when you expect confirmation. For long-distance moves, include any fixed arrival window at the destination. An enquiry does not reserve a date, and website information is not a booking. Availability, timing and the exact work must be confirmed in the quotation and subsequent agreement.
Review the quotation carefully
Check the addresses, date, inventory assumptions, included labour, packing, furniture preparation, price, payment terms, exclusions and applicable cover details. Ask questions before accepting it. If your box count, access or service requirements change, notify Saints promptly so the plan can be reviewed. Keep a copy of the agreed information and contact details. Clear communication before moving day is the best way to prevent a last-minute difference between the belongings waiting at the property and the work originally discussed.
